Polo Shirts
- Middle School-Grey or Gold
- High School-Navy blue or royal purple
- Polo shirts must be tucked in all day
Pants
- Black or Khaki only
- Pants must be worn at the waist at all times with a belt
Belts
- Black, brown, or neutral color
Shoes/Socks
- Sneakers or running shoes
- Plain socks
Headwear
- Hats, caps, bonnets, etc. will not be allowed
Winter Wear
- Winter beanies/gloves, Outerwear: jackets, coats, and hoodies: Allowed/store in locker before class
- Pick-up from locker on the way to cafeteria end of day
School Issued ID
- Must be worn at all times/every day and considered a part of the required uniform
Personal Grooming
- Jewelry: Clear, small nose rings allowed. Earrings/jewelry small studs only (no hoops, sharp/pointed jewelry)
- Make-up: Modest, light (no bold colors)
- Make-up may not be brought to or carried at school
- Hair: Natural color, modest style, length mid-back, hair jewelry not allowed
- Nails: Light, neutral color, no long, pointed, sharp nails
Backpack Policy
Backpacks, purses, bags, etc. are not allowed on school property.
The purpose of this policy is to enhance the safety and security of all students, staff, and visitors by restricting the use of backpacks on school premises. Limiting the size and type of personal items students may bring helps prevent the introduction of prohibited or dangerous items and supports a safer learning environment. Example items:
Weapons, drugs, vaping devices, Facsimile weapons, sharp objects, other potentially dangerous items
Exemptions to Backpack Policy
Medical needs
Parents of students that need to bring medical devices, such as a diabetes monitor, etc. will be required to bring a doctor's note to orientation. The school nurse will email student’s teachers letting them know about this exemption.
Lunchboxes
At TRAICE Academy, lunch boxes or lunches from home of any kind are not permitted.
